AQUALISTIC ™ ALKALINE MINERAL DRINKING WATER SYSTEMS
What is Reverse Osmosis?
According to Wikipedia:
Reverse osmosis(RO) is a water purification technology that uses a semipermeable membrane to remove ions, molecules and larger particles from drinking water. In reverse osmosis, an applied pressure is used to overcome osmotic pressure, a colligative property, that is driven by chemical potentialdifferences of the solvent, a thermodynamicparameter. Reverse osmosis can remove many types of dissolved and suspended species from water, including bacteria, and is used in both industrial processes and the production of potable water. The result is that the soluteis retained on the pressurized side of the membrane and the pure solventis allowed to pass to the other side. To be “selective”, this membrane should not allow large molecules or ions through the pores(holes), but should allow smaller components of the solution (such as solvent molecules) to pass freely.[1)
SIMPLY PUT: water is forced through a really fine filters that remove the larger “bad” molecules (like barium, cadmium, chromium, lead, mercury and fluoride) leaving 99% pure clean water.
Not all Reverse Osmosis systems are the equal
It can get confusing when it comes to selecting RO systems, they all look similar but the price ranges can be quite vast.
THINGS TO CONSIDER:
How much pure water will be produced?
Higher end RO systems should be able to make 70 plus gallons per day (24 hours)
AQUALISTIC ™ Pure Water Systems produce up to 75 gallons per day with 1 storage tank. Because we are the manufacture, larger or multiple tanks can be added if more water is needed.
How much water is wasted?
RO units have to flush the bad particles down the drain, lesser systems can waste up to 5 gallons of water for every 1 gallon of pure water produced. Quality units will waste only 1 gallon of water per 1 gallon of pure water produced.
AQUALISTIC ™ Pure Water Systems a 1 for 1 exchange system. Minimizing waste and conserving water.
Use your System’s purified water for drinking, cooking & ice, with improved taste and increased health benefits.
Our Drinking Systems are equipped with automatic shut-off valves to eliminate waste by closing the feed line when the tank is full.
Aqualistic ™ 5-stage (under the sink) RO systems come complete with pre-filters and post-filters and a 4 gallon storage tank.
Each filter is designed to eliminate specific types of impurities for cleaner and healthier drinking water.
Our RO residential under the sink water filtration systems deliver high quality and better tasting drinking water.
With our DRINKING SYSTEMS, you can eliminate up to 99% of dissolved solids, chlorine, fluoride, microorganisms and heavy metals such as chromium, barium, cadmium, lead and mercury from your water. ( Check your water quality report to see what is in your tap water)
Benefits include immediate and improved taste and increased health benefits.
Savings: Stop wasting money on bottled water products. Use your new reverse osmosis system instead. Taste the difference. Better taste and higher purity.
Environmentally Friendly :The reduced bottled water use will help the environment by reducing the amount of plastics we send to landfills.
Our systems are professionally installed by our own certified Plumbers. Don’t risk poorly installed systems that may leak and cause costly damage to your home. Our systems offer a lifetime workmanship warranty (ask about details).
We’ve been in the water and water filtration industry for 30+ years. This experience in the industry has made us very selective in what we sell and install.
Our systems are manufactured with the highest-quality components, offer outstanding warranties, and have the highest ratings for customer satisfaction.
What is REVERSE OSMOSIS ?
Osmosis is the movement of water molecules from an area of high water concentration (weak/dilute solution) to an area of low water concentration (strong/concentrated solution) through a partially permeable membrane.
Reverse Osmosis is a process in which dissolved inorganic solids (such as salts) are removed from a solution (such as water). This is accomplished by household water pressure pushing the tap water through a semipermeable membrane.
Seabirds use reverse osmosis to desalinate seawater. They possess a membrane in their throats which allows water molecules to get through and stops the salt. This enables them to drink fresh, unsalted water, and they spit out the salty waste.
Reverse osmosis is now used in medicine and industry as a means of purifying or separating water and other solvents from other components. In recent years, it has been used increasingly for making pure water for dialysis in hospitals and for producing Water for Injections.
Here is a list of a few impurities found in tap water that can be removed with Reverse Osmosis filtration technology: Fluoride Lead Chlorine & Chlormamine Pesticides Detergents & more Nitrates & Sulfates
Although most RO systems look and work basically the same way, they differ in the quality of their components and installation.
